Where Honter is the better fit
One link for the whole campaign, not just the video
A campaign rarely ships as video alone. There’s a pitch deck, social ads, display banners and a launch email. Frame.io can store those files, but it shows them as files. Honter shows each one where it will live: ads inside Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn mockups, emails in an inbox, banners at true size and web pages in a browser frame.
AI reviewers before the client round
Honter’s AI reviewers read decks, pages, static ads, emails, galleries and documents before you share them. They flag the weakest point, language that will land wrong and how the reader is likely to react. Frame.io’s AI Assistant, in beta, summarizes comments after reviewers leave them. Honter’s reviewers don’t cover video yet.
A flat price
Frame.io charges per member: $15 a month on Pro and $25 on Team. Honter Pro is $19.99 a month flat and includes a Studio for up to 5 members. The free plan covers 6 projects.

Which one should you choose?
Choose Frame.io if you edit video for a living, work inside Premiere Pro or After Effects, and need frame-accurate review on long cuts and large files.
Choose Honter if video is one part of what you send clients, next to decks, ads, emails and web designs, and you want every piece reviewed in context through one simple link.
Frequently asked questions
Can Honter replace Frame.io for video review?
For short-form client review, such as ad spots, social cuts and animatics, it can. Clients click the frame to leave a comment pinned to that moment. For long-form post-production with editing-app panels, Frame.io is the stronger tool.
Do clients need an account in either tool?
No. Frame.io share links ask for a name and email on the first comment. Honter asks only for a name.
Which video files does Honter accept?
MP4, MOV, WebM and M4V files up to 150 MB each, one video per shot.
Can I use both?
Yes. Keep Frame.io for internal edit reviews and use Honter when finished pieces go to the client with the rest of the campaign.
